Outreach, Presentations, Consultation
The University of Northern Colorado Counseling Center is committed to helping build and support a healthy college experience. One of the ways in which we accomplish this is through providing outreach and consultation services to the campus community. In our commitment to serving the mental health needs of students, faculty, and staff, we work collaboratively with other departments on campus to enhance the overall campus climate. This includes reaching out to our campus community through consultations, workshops and psycho-educational presentations.
The Counseling Center staff is available to consult with individuals or groups regarding issues that involve the welfare of a student. We are also available to provide outreach presentations and workshops. Outreach requests are available to students, faculty and staff with sufficient notice (please give us at least two weeks).
Our staff is skilled and knowledgeable in a wide variety of topics. Topics covered in past presentations include stress management, relationship conflicts, managing depression and anxiety, recognizing students with mental health concerns, among others. We are happy to discuss other areas that may be of interest to you. Please complete our Outreach Request Form if you would like to utilize these services.
