Office of Engagement
Bachelor of Arts: Psychology, Carleton University (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada)
Master of Arts: Clinical Mental Health Counseling, (Expected 2017) University of Northern Colorado
I am currently the graduate assistant for the UNC Office of Engagement.
Within education, I am interested in what classroom factors are related to student engagement, and how community engaged work and projects impact student learning and student engagement with course material.
Within counseling, my research areas of interest include feminist/gender related issues, LGBTQ+ populations, intersectionality, and social justice.
Showing up and checking out: Why does active disengagement happen?
