Undergraduate Commencement Ceremonies 2013-2014

Saturday, December 14, Butler Hancock Sports Pavillion
In the fall UNC hosts two undergraduate ceremonies.
9:00 a.m.:
- Monfort College of Business
- College of Natural and Health Sciences
- College of Performing and Visual Arts
12:30 p.m.:
- College of Education and Behavioral Sciences
- College of Humanities and Social Sciences
- University College
The doors open to Butler Hancock Athletic Center 1 hour prior to the ceremony.
About the ceremony
Ceremony Etiquette
- Males guests should remove caps during the National Anthem, Alma Mater and Honor Guard presentation of colors
- Please silence your phone during the ceremony
- For your safety do not stand on the bleachers or chairs during the ceremony
- Alcohol is strictly prohibited
Getting to the Commencement location
Accessibility Information
Accessible seating will be available at the ceremony on a first-come basis and does not require reservations. This seating is located on the first row of the bleachers around the Butler Hancock Sports Pavillion. Based on limited seating, we ask that only one family member accompany the person needing accessible seating. We ask that extended families sit in the next row of seating above the accessibility seating to help accommodate other guests.

Spring 2014
Saturday, May 10th, Nottingham Field
The ceremony will be at 10:00 a.m.
The gates at Nottingham Field will open one hour before the ceremony, no tickets are required for admittance. Capacity at Nottingham is 5,200 and seating is available on a first-come basis.

Accessibility Information
Accessible seating will be available at the ceremony on a first-come basis and does not require reservations. There is seating on both the top row of the West bleachers, on the terrace level or in the first row of the east bleachers. A Commencment volunteer at either the east or west entrance can help provide directions to these seats.
