Michael Adams
Michael Adams lives along Coal Creek, just east of the Continental Divide in Lafayette, Colorado with his wife, Claire. He grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the University of Pittsburgh. He has worked in steel mills, as a city planner, as a mountaineering and whitewater rafting guide, and as a supervisor for the City of Boulder. Michael plays southern Appalachian style clawhammer banjo and has built a strawbale cabin in southern Colorado. He even writes the occasional poem. He is currently a graduate advisor in the Master of Arts program at Prescott College in Prescott, Arizona. Michael is a member of the Romero Theater Troupe, a community theater group that deals with issues of social justice. (http://www.romerotroupe.org/)
