Eligibility: Students, faculty and staff of the University of Northern Colorado and members of the Greeley community are invited to submit 2 or 3-dimensional visual media related to the theme of the exhibit. Works reflecting consideration of the following sub-categories are of particular interest:

Deadline:Monday, April 6th, 2009 by 5:00pm in Candelaria 0140.
Submissions should include the name and school affiliation of the artist (e.g, department) and the artist's e-mail address and phone number. Posters submissions become the property of the SOCfor use in future publicity. Submission of artwork constitutes permission to photograph entries, and use the photos in future publicity for the Summit.

About the Summit: The mission of the Summit on Social Justice and Diversity is to bring together scholars, activists, students, faculty and community members, who share a belief in the need for a more just and egalitarian American society. The Summit serves as an annual opportunity to engage in discussions on current issues related to diversity, tolerance, and inequities existing within the university, Greeley, and US communities. In addition to keynote speakers, papers, and the art exhibit, we will release the results of our annual Report Card which grades the University of Northern Colorado on social justice issues.
