Welcome to the University of Northern Colorado’s School of Nursing local chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, Zeta Omicron. This site serves as a resource for learning, knowledge, and professional development for our members both on campus and in the community.
Our Fall 2011 meeting will be held on October 20, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00pm. We will be meeting in Long's Peak Room at the Medical Center of the Rockies.
UNC undergraduate nursing student, Rachel Rose Jackson, will be presenting her work with Kayayei Association. The Kayayei Association is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2009. The organization provides on-going relief and support to women and children living on the streets of Accra, Ghana.
SERVICE OPPORTUNITY: We will be collecting items for the Kayayei Association. They are in need of the following items: small hand sanitizer, toothbrushes for children, toothpaste, soap, bandaids, triple antibiotic ointment, and other small hygiene items.
