Housing and Meals

Students will arrange their own housing and may book a hostel or room wherever they'd like within Trieste. However, the University of Trieste recommends students stay at Residence Liberty which offers excellent rates to students. The cost is 70 Euro/day per apartment for 4 persons. So, four students can book an apartment together and split the cost.

More information about Residence Liberty can be found here.

Every unit is equipped with telephone, video-entry phone, TV set and air conditioning to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is a weekly housekeeping service which includes a change of bedsheets and bathroom towels. Laundry facilities are on-site.

The residence provides also a wi-fi internet connection.

Applicants must have completed a minimum of one year of college-level academic coursework (2.5 minimum GPA) and have a clear disciplinary record. No language requirement necessary.

Students must first complete the UNC Study Abroad application and indicate which courses they will be enrolling in on the Program School line.

Students should submit the completed application, a statement of purpose, and an official copy of their transcript by March 12.

The administrative fee will be reduced to $100 for students studying on any of these courses.
