The Center for Human Enrichment
Welcome! The Center for Human Enrichment (CHE) provides support to first generation college students; students whose parents or legal guardians do not hold a bachelor’s degree or students who have independent status, living outside the support of a natural or adoptive parent.
Our program is recognized in the top 1% of all Federally-funded Student Support Services (SSS) programs in the nation.
As a CHE participant, you will become part of a caring community that will support your academic and personal growth until you graduate from UNC.

Eligibility Verification Form
Each year the CHE program accepts approximately 60-70 new cohort of students. To be eligible students must be a first-generation college student and meet federal income guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Education. Students accepted into the CHE program MUST commit to using our program services throughout their undergraduate career.
Currently we are recruiting for the cohort for the 2016-2017 academic year. However, you may still apply put you will be put on a waiting list. If interested download the application by clicking the CHE 2016 Application link. There are several ways you can submit your application.
