The campus cultural centers work collaboratively with CHE students to obtain additional support and guidance. The cultural centers also provide our students related information to social, cultural, and educational events throughout the UNC community. In addition, some of the cultural centers student services include FREE printing, faxing, and copying.
Asian/Pacific American Student Services (Alethea Stovall, Director) – In general, A/PASS provides academic and social support are provided for Asian/Pacific American students. You may visit the A/PASS center at the Kohl House located at 924 20th Street and/or call them at (970) 351-1909.
Native American Student Service Center (Alethea Stovall, Interim Director) - This cultural center is also located at the Kohl House. NASS provides academic,social, emotional, and cultural support to all UNC students with a special emphasis on Native American students. César Chavez Cultural Center (Patricia Escobar, Director) - The César Center focuses on the Latino/Hispanic students to help foster an academic environment to facilitate a successful and positive university experience. The César Center is located at the corner of 14th Avenue and 20th Street (house on top of the hill). You may call them at (970) 351-2424.
Marcus Garvey Cultural Center (Ty'Ray Thompson, Director) - The Garvey Center programs are designed to challenge, support, and to increase retention and graduation of UNC Black students.
