Description:

Blackboard 7.2 Basics: Assessments and Gradebook workshop is appropriate for faculty or staff who have experience with the basic functions of Blackboard covered in the Blackboard Basics workshop.

Focus is on Blackboard functions related to assessments and the Gradebook

• creating exams, surveys and pools
• configuring the Gradebook
• adding offline or non-academic activities to the Gradebook
• providing access to online grade review by your students
• exporting the Gradebook to Excel

Delivery Mode:

Participants will meet in a face-to-face session.

Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Create and deploy exams and surveys
• Grade Assignments and Safe Assignments
• Configure Gradebook settings
• Create multiple types of offline assignments in the Gradebook
• Download the Gradebook

Prerequisites:

Participants should have completed Blackboard Basics or have previous experience with Blackboard or similar course management system.
