unc transcript

Curious as to what a co-curricular transcript is, why it's important and what it means for UNC? If so, plan to attend this lunch forum and walk away with a clear understanding of the value of giving.

The Co-Curricular Transcript provides students authentic UNC validation for:

  • involvement in organizations and activities
  • earned honors
  • awards and recognitions, leadership development processes
  • heir participation in research
  • experiential learning
  • internships
  • study abroad
  • community service or civic engagement

UNC faculty and staff are also able to use the data collected in the CCT for program analysis or evaluation purposes and the accreditation process.

Employers and graduate schools are increasingly aware that involvement in co-curricular activities helps students develop into well-rounded individuals, with skills and strengths that make them more desirable candidates.

The Co-Curricular Transcript provides UNC students a way to document involvement in activities the class room and demonstrates to potential employers and graduate programs the depth of their UNC educations and engagement. This workshop will provide the campus community with an update about the objectives of the Co-Curricular Transcript as well as the process for gathering information and the aspects of data output.

  • Knowledge of types of relevant co-curricular engagement
  • How to access or request Co-Curricular Transcript data
  • Awareness of further applications for Co-Curricular Transcript data collected
