As the number of English language learners in the K-12 school system continues to rise, so too does the number of students at college who speak languages other than English. This in turn brings new challenges and demands when teaching and learning.

This inaugural lunchtime faculty forum provides vital information about learners of English in the college classroom and seeks to engage faculty in meaningful discussion about how best to support student success, while still maintaining high standards and rigor in academic English.
