Services for Students with Disabilities

Disabilities overview

All faculty members must support and reasonably accommodate all students with Special Needs when requested to do so. Disability Support Service's mission is to develop a partnership with students, faculty and staff to assist in creating an accessible university community, where students with disabilities have an equal opportunity to fully participate in all aspects of the educational environment. Any student requesting disability accommodation for a class must inform the instructor, giving appropriate notice. Students are encouraged to contact Disability Support Services to certify documentation of disability and to ensure that appropriate accommodations are implemented in a timely manner.
