Faculty Sponsored Research
The University of Northern Colorado's Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), which reports to the Assistant Vice President for Research, supports the University's leadership, faculty and staff in the acquisition and administration of externally funded grants and contracts for research, teaching, and service projects that further the mission of the University.
OSP provides services in identification and dissemination of external funding opportunities, proposal development and submission, budget development for external proposals, contract negotiation, post-award management, sponsored programs education and training, research integrity and compliance, sponsored programs reporting, administrative support for the Institutional Review Board (IRB), and administrative support for the Faculty Research and Publications Board.

UNC Institutional Review Board
Members of the UNC faculty, staff, and students who wish to conduct research that includes humans as research participants must receive the approval of the University's IRB prior to data collection. Please see the IRB website (http://www.unco.edu/irb) for further information.
