Faculty members may distribute paper course-evaluation forms to their students by the end of the semester. To retrieve paper course-evaluation form, faculty members need to contact their department administrative assistants for further information. UNC utilizes a web-based course evaluation tool as alternative way of conducting paper-based course evaluations. The benefits of replacing the paper-based course evaluation with the online tool include saving money for purchasing the paper course-evaluation form, receiving technical support and pedagogical evaluation assistance, and managing instructors' own course evaluations. Faculty members who are interested in using this tool for course evaluations are encouraged to contact their department/school, and/or college for further details.
Evaluations for Extended Studies Centers
Center Managers will distribute the evaluation packet at the last scheduled class meeting. A student volunteer will distribute and collect evaluations. The Center manager then sends the evaluations for processing. Faculty receive a copy of final evaluation information and comments.
