Foreign Language and Great Traditions in Xi'an, China
Spend 4 weeks Xi'an, China, studying intensive Chinese and Asian civilization. Explore the ancient capital of China. Visit famous sites such as the Terra Cotta Soldiers, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, The Great Mosque, and the sacred Daoist Mountain Mt. Hua. Meet local university students. Then embark on a week-long tour to China's southwest where we will see the bustling city of Chengdu, Giant Pandas in the Panda Preserve, and the world’s largest Buddha at Leshan. Travel to Chongqing to see the Yangtze River and catch a traditional opera in the Sichuan style with bianlian.
Applicants must have completed a minimum of one semester of college-level academic coursework (2.5 minimum GPA) and have a clear disciplinary record.
The first 24 applicants will be considered for this program. Applications will be considered on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Applications should be delivered to the Center for International Education in UC 2205 before the application deadline listed above. Programs may fill before the posted application deadline, so turn your application in as soon as you are ready to commit.

A non-refundable deposit (via credit card or check written out to the University of Northern Colorado) is due at the time of application. This will be applied against your UNC tuition and fees (see below). Your deposit will only be returned if you are not accepted for the course or if the course is cancelled.
