Research Interests and Specializations:
Dr. Bowen's research interests include Deaf education teacher preparation, literacy development, early childhood education and early intervention, Hispanic Deaf/hard of hearing students and families, and multicultural issues in deafness. Dr. Bowen is fluent in Spanish and American Sign Language.
