What is the Timeline for the Comprehensive Examination Process?

The expectation is that all core and content courses are to be completed before the semester in which the student completes his/her comprehensive examination. One can be doing a practicum (EDSE 693) during the time of the exam, and one can also be taking the Graduate School's research course (SRM 600) at the time he/she is completing the comprehensive examination. One can also still be taking PTEP courses if these are part of his/her program, although this is not advised. (These courses are usually done early in a student's program.)
