Well Developed Individual Interest

á      There are four phase to the model of interest development and each phase can evolve into the other because the learner can get more interested in the task/content.

á      Interest- the outcome of an interaction between a person and a particular content, itŐs the personŐs own interest

á      Triggered Situational Interest- this is where the interest is ignited in a person.

á      Maintained Situational Interest- this is where the interest is triggered further, it involves attention and persistence over extended periods of time.

á      Emerging(less developed) Individual Interest- this is where interest is moved from situational interest to individual interest, itŐs a personal interest-positive feeling and their choice of interest.

á      Well-Developed Individual Interest- this is when a person develops serious interest in the subject, more positive feeling over other activities and has more stored knowledge.
