The purpose of this website is to define, explain, and analyze extrinsic and intrinsic motivation within the classroom. We also will be looking at the cartoon Calvin and Hobbs to apply these motivational characteristics. We will define the two kinds of motivation styles, show how they affect learning, factors that influence these motivations in students, and different teaching methods that correspond with these two motivation styles.
