In order to graduate in four years, you are advised to take an average of 15 credits per semester. These credits fall into three categories: Psychology Major, General Education, and University-Wide Electives. University-Wide Electives may take the form of another major, a minor, or additionalJanuary 26, 2007ave a minor. Your advisor can suggest a particular set of electives in response to your interests and objectives.

Psychology program faculty recommend that PSY 400 (Research Design and Analysis) be taken as soon as possible after PSY 200 (Psychological Statistics and Design).

The Psychology program offers courses in the summer session. Students are encouraged to take summer classes as a means of expediting their degree program or as a means to catch up from taking fewer than an average of 15 credits per semester.
