The information reported here is descriptive. Please also review our report on educational stability, which indicates that race begins to emerge as predictor of frequent school moves in middle school. By high school there are clear disparities. Minority students of both genders, and especially Black or African American students, were more likely to experience frequent school changes than White students in foster care.
