Matrix of ELPS Courses and Standards

This matrix provides a quick overview of which courses address each of the Colorado Principal Licensure Standards. The State Board of Education adopted these standards in 2003, and faculty have modified courses and internship experiences to be sure that each contributes to the standards.

Principal Licensure Professional Planning Form

This form is to be used to draft the program of studies for the Principal License; print a final copy to submit to your advisor to sign.

Administrator Licensure Professional Planning Form

This form is to be used to draft the program of studies for Superintendent and Other Central Office Positions; print a final copy to submit to your advisor to sign.

MA Program Planning Form

This form is to be used to draft the program of studies for the Master of Arts degree; print a final copy to submit to your advisor to sign.

MA Policies and Procedures Concerning Comprehensive Exams

This statement clarifies policies, procedures and eligibility for the Master's Degree comprehensive examination.

MA Comps Eligibility Approval Form

This form must be filled out when the student is in the final term of their Master's graduate study in order to be eligible to take the written MA comprehensive exam.

Permission to take MA Written Comprehensive Exam

This form must be completed to receive permission to take the MA written comprehensive exam.

Ed. S. Program Planning Form

This form is to be used to draft the program of studies for the Educational Specialist.

Ed. S. Comprehensive Exam Policy and Procedure Statement

This statement clarifies policies, procedures and eligibility for the Educational Specialist comprehensive examination.

Permission to take ED.S. Written Comprehensive Exam

This form must be completed to receive permission to take the Ed.S. written comprehensive exam.

Ed. D. Program Planning Form

This form is to be used to draft the program of studies for the Doctor of Education degree; print a final copy to submit to your advisor and committee to sign.

Ed. D. Policies and Procedures Concerning Comprehensive Exams

This form must be completed to receive permission to take the doctoral written comprehensive exam.

ELPS Master Schedule of Classes

This Master Schedule provides a list of tentative ELPS-prefix courses offerings from the present through Spring 2013, thus enabling students to create a plan of studies.

Application for Financial Assistance

This application must be completed by ELPS Program students to be considered for scholarships and fellowships for the following academic year. The deadline for submitting this application to the Office is generally March 1st , although feel free to contact the Office to confirm due date.
