Prospective students often ask “How is this program unique? What separates you from other programs?” While there are many excellent Educational Technology programs throughout the world, we think ours is unique in offering a strong blend of theory and application in a highly personalized setting. Graduate classes tend to be small and friendly. Faculty and students collaborate on research and publications and are actively involved in a variety of professional organizations, holding positions such as ETR&D Book Reviews Editor, ETR&D Editorial Consultants, and ISPI-FRC board of director’s positions.
Recently, we have expanded our horizons to embrace a number of diverse professional organizations including:
- American Society of Training and Development (ASTD)
- Apple’s Distinguished Educators Group
- Association for Educational Communications and Technologies (AECT)
- Association for the Advancement of Educational Computing (AACE)
- International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)
- International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI)
- International Visual Literacy Association (IVLA)
