Dr. Gall is an Associate Professor of Educational Technology at UNC. He received a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems in 1995 from Florida State University. In 1990, he earned his MS Degree in Instructional Systems from the Pennsylvania State University. He also holds a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Gall has over ten years of practical experience in software development and instructional design. He has worked for Arthur Andersen, Andersen Consulting, Electronic Data Systems (EDS), and General Electric. He also was an instructional designer and statistics instructor at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
At UNC, Dr. Gall teaches mainly in the area of software design and development. His primary service commitment is the supervision of the ICET Computer Lab in McKee. In addition, he is involved in numerous college and campus initiatives regarding technology infrastructure.
