Jennifer Summerville: Jennifer Summerville

Dr. Jennifer Summerville is currently an Associate Professor of Instructional Design and Technology at Emporia State University. She teaches "Instructional Media", a traditional undergraduate-level class and "Instructional Design" and "Contemporary Issues in Distance Education", both web-based, masters-level courses. Another web-based course, an advanced instructional design course for corporate educators, is planned for the spring of 2000. She has been with Emporia State University since 1997.

Dr. Summerville began her doctoral work at University of Northern Colorado in the fall of 1994. She worked for UNC as a graduate assistant, teaching undergraduate educational technology courses. Dr. Summerville also designed, developed and implemented a desktop publishing course for the Ft. Lupton School District. She was a corporate trainer prior to coming to UNC.
