Dr. Donna Ferguson 
Donna Ferguson completed her Ph.D. in Educational Technology at the University of Northern Colorado in 1999. She holds a master's in Ed. Tech. from the UNC. In addition, she has earned bachelor's degrees from Oregon State University in Elementary Education and Iowa State University in Early Childhood Education.
Dr.. Ferguson is the Curriculum Specialist in Technology for the Thompson R2J School District in Loveland, Colorado, as well as an intermediate multiage teacher. During the 1998-99 school year, she had the opportunity to work in Estes Park, Colorado, as a TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) doing staff development. She has also taught Early Childhood classes in Pennsylvania, Canada, and Oregon. As the owner of a fiber arts business, she taught adult and secondary education classes for ten years and wrote books in the needlework field.
She has coordinated workshops and conferences, done in-service training, and presented papers at local, state, and national conferences.
Her research interests include technology integration in the K-12 classroom, curriculum design and gender equity in software development.
