Welcome!
"Here at the University of Northern Colorado, you will find our faculty, students, and staff friendly and dedicated. Many students develop lasting friendships during their program of studies that follow them through their studies and beyond."
Our mission is to prepare educators and knowledge workers for the technological challenges of tomorrow. The curriculum is rooted in two primary dimensions: K-12 post secondary educational environments, and the high tech workforce. Unique to the state, our program combines a balance of theory and applied practice while providing quality teaching and learning. The learning environment is flexible and student centered and our faculty view students as both learners and peers who can contribute to the intellectual capital of the university. In addition, the faculty maintains contacts with area schools, agencies, and companies who will potentially employ graduates of the program. This keeps the program healthy and innovative.
