Our Mission
The mission of Educational Psychology is to prepare educators, scholars, and researchers knowledgeable of psychological perspectives on how children, adolescents, and adults learn and develop.
Program faculty and students are committed to excellence in education, to improvement of education through psychological research and applications, to advancement of knowledge in educational psychology, to appreciation of diversity, and to the value of multiple perspectives in conducting research and practice. In addition to these commitments, faculty encourage students to set, maintain, and achieve the highest personal and professional standards.
