Faculty members in the Department of Counselor Education and Supervision have been recognized for a number of accomplishments in the areas teaching, scholarship, and service. As a group, the faculty have authored or coauthored numerous articles and book chapters, and conducted many national and regional professional presentations for the American Counseling Association, the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, the Association for Play Therapy, the American School Counselors Association, and the American Psychological Association. Faculty members have also been elected to various leadership positions in state and national level counseling organizations within several divisions. Faculty have served or serve as editorial board members of national professional journals such as the Journal of Counseling and Development, Counselor Education and Supervision, and The Professional School Counselor. Two faculty members have received the annual Outstanding College Teaching Award sponsored by the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. As a group we enjoy a good laugh, great food and each other’s company.
