Deciding on a Major

This assessment is a shortened version of an interest survey developed by John Holland. To begin, rate yourself on each of the 60 items, using the rating scale below. Select you answer based on your first impression of each item. After answering all the items, the computer will score your answers and give you a three letter "Holland code", which you can match to majors offered at UNC. We recommend that you make an appointment with a career counselor to discuss your results if you have questions about your interests or major.
