Viewing Available Internships

There are numerous internship opportunities listed in Career Services Online. In order to view internship listings you will need to have a profile in newWORK.

If you have not already created a student profile, follow the instructions below for How to get Started.

To view complete details on an internship, visit the UNC Career Services' Resource Center in the University Center.

How to get Started: Student Profile

• Click on Career Services Online
• Click on Click here to Register!
• Fill out all required fields (those marked with an *). Do not use spaces in your Bear Number (required for profile validation).
• At *Majors, click add, click the + button, and a list of majors will appear. After checking your major(s), scroll to the bottom and click on close window to make major appear in your profile.
• REMINDER: make a note of your user name and user password because you will need this information for future access to your account on the system
• Click Register
• If all fields are properly completed, you may click Submit Profile
• You can now view job listings, upload your resume, and sign up for on-campus interviews (you will need to upload a resume prior to signing up for interviews). Please call (970) 351-2552 or email career.services@unco.edu if you need assistance.

To increase your chances to obtain an internship, we suggest you upload your resume. When you put your resume on line, we will be able to send your resume to an employer who has requested internship applicants.
