Career Services Mission
Career Services engages, supports and empowers students and alumni to discover, create and implement their career and future educational plans. Career Services creates opportunities for students to connect with employers and working alumni in order to learn insider information about the world of work and to increase the likelihood of becoming gainfully employed upon graduation. Career Services stays current on economic and world of work trends and provides this information to students and the UNC community while adapting services accordingly.

Students who engage with Career Services will be able to acquire and construct knowledge about the world of work and career development while applying the knowledge to their lives.
Students who engage with Career Services will be able to use reflective and critical thinking skills to explore new ideas and perspectives and make informed academic and career decisions.
Students who engage with Career Services will be able to assess and articulate their experiences, interests, skills, values, and growth areas while integrating and honoring their complex and dynamic self-identities with confidence.
