Pictures of Butler - Hancock Hall

History:
Built in 1963 to replace the inadequate Physical Education facilities of Gunter Hall, the facility was built with an olympic size pool and has a field house that can accomodate over 5,000 spectators. It was also used as the campus recreation center prior to the existence of the new facility.

Current Use:

Butler-Hancock is home to the university's swimming pool and gym where general physical education and athletic events occur. The building also houses the offices for the physical education and athletic departments.
