Fit With Five
Eating 5 or more fruits and vegetables each day has been associated with reducing the risk of cancer, diabetes, heart disease, stroke and atherosclerosis. Unfortunately, the two food groups most often neglected in the American diet are fruits and vegetables.
This 4-week incentive program will help you develop healthy eating habits that include a variety of fruits and vegetables. Track your progress and turn in completed record sheets weekly to earn points and prizes. All participants who complete the program will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize. This program is free to all UNC students, faculty and staff. Stop by the Campus Recreation Center front desk to sign-up and pick up/drop off your record sheets.
