Wellness Coalition
Mission Statement
The Wellness Coalition of the University of Northern Colorado is a campus-wide collaboration, dedicated to assessing and responding to student health and wellness needs, through development and implementation of proactive programs and services that will foster a campus culture that supports optimal academic and personal growth.
Activities
The UNC Wellness Coalition meets monthly in order to discuss trends in student health and wellness, collaborate and coordinate campus-wide events and conduct student health and wellness assessments on an ongoing basis. The Wellness Coalition actively contributes to and provides the following programs and services to the UNC campus community:
- National College Health Assessment (Spring 2007)
- Sexual Assault Free Environment (SAFE) Week
- Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW)
- Health Fairs
