Internships & Practicum Opportunities

Campus Recreation offers an array of opportunities to enhance your academic experience. Undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Recreation, Sports Administration, Community Health, Exercise Science and related areas are welcome. Previous projects completed by our interns and practicum students include the Campus Recreation Discover presentation, health fair activities, wellness seminars, informational studies, workshop design, program management, staff training and more.

Student Volunteer Opportunities

UNC Campus Recreation actively encourages the spirit of volunteerism.

  • We offer educational opportunities for interns and practicum students.
  • The Campus Recreation Advisory Board is formed by the Student Representative Council to assist the Department of Campus Recreation with future planning and advising.
  • We also host a broad range of events that utilize volunteers. These events include Rec Fest, Disability Awareness Week, Special Olympics and Springfest.
