Outdoor Pursuits Graduate Assistant

Whitney Dyer

 

As the Graduate Assistant for Outdoor Pursuits, I assist in the supervision of the Gear Shop staff, Climbing Wall staff, Trip Leaders and the Ropes Course Staff. Additionally, I aminvolved with the management of programs hosted by all Outdoor Pursuits entities to include the trip planning and budgeting, ropes course facilitation and scheduling, and the daily operations of both the indoor climbing wall, blue cruiser bike share and the gear shop equipment procurement and distribution. I assist the Coordinator in Outdoor Pursuits in the development and enforcement of policies and procedures for both Outdoor Pursuits patrons and student staff. I represent the Outdoor Pursuits Program and Campus Recreation at university events including meetings, recruitment efforts, and special events.

Facilities and Operations Graduate Assistant

Natalee Gonzalez

 

As the Graduate Assistant for Facilities and Operations, I assist in the supervision of the Campus Recreation building staff, aquatics staff, special events, group rentals and member services. I assist in the development and enforcement of policies and procedures for both Campus Recreation patrons and student staff. I represent Campus Recreation at university events including meetings, recruitment efforts, and special events.

 

Fitness and Wellness Graduate Assistant

Bobby Pulliam

 

As the Graduate Assistant of Fitness and Wellness I am responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the fitness programs. I also assist managing the fitness staff which includes both personal trainers and group fitness instructors. I also help with all wellness services including nutrition and massage therapy. I was a double major undergraduate at UNC studying Sport and Exercise Science and Human Communication Studies. I am currently completing my master's degree in Sport and Exercise Science with a concentration in Social Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity. Away from work, I am committed to a life of health through CrossFit, running Colorado 5ks and 10ks, golfing.

 

Marketing Graduate Assistant

Charlie Charbonneau

As the Graduate Assistant of Marketing I am responsible for assisting with the marketing and advertising of the Campus Recreation Center, its website, and its social media sites. I oversee the marketing staff, which includes both graphic design and web marketing students. I received my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Sport and Exercise Science from UNC in 2013, and I am currently completing my Master's Degree in Sports Coaching. When I’m not working at the CRC, I am training for mud runs, and serving as the chapter advisor for a fraternity on campus.
