ANNUAL EVENTS
RecFest
This huge event during Welcome Week will showcase all the programs and activities for the year! The theme this year is "Throwback at the Rec" and there will be plenty of games, food, and activities to keep you entertained. Some events we will have are Disco Dodgeball, Peace, Love, and Volleyball, Crazy Eighties Game Room, Jock Jams Basketball, and much more. Prizes will be given away throughout the night, some prizes include Massage, Group Fitness passes, Intramural Registrations, Gift Certificates, VIP Passes for Paintball, and much more.
Climbing 4 Cans:
This climbing competition is for all levels and happens around Thanksgiving. The registration fee for this competition is 4 canned food items for the Weld County Food Bank. It’s a lot of fun, a very supportive environment, and serves a very good cause.
Valentine’s Volleyball Tournament:
2-on-2 Volleyball Tournament around Valentine’s Day. Prizes are typically related to the holiday, such as gift certificates to local restaurants. 3 Divisions: Men’s, Women’s, and CoRec.
SpringFest:
This campus-wide event is the culminating event of the year as it happens around Spring Semester Finals Week. Barbeque, music, volleyball, disc golf, games, raffles, prizes, inflatables, and wax hands make for a fun outdoor event. One last fling before Summer.
