Trips
Outdoor Pursuits offers many trips, classes and clinics each semester to provide individuals with the opportunity to learn new skills or enhance his or her knowledge of the great outdoors. Trips are open to all UNC students, faculty, and staff. Participants need to complete and return a participant health form to the Gear Shop, by the departure of your trip. (Health forms are required for all overnight trips and day trips).
Cancellation Policies
In order to minimize our environmental impact, maintain facilitator-to-participant ratios, meet permit criteria, and transportation logistics, OP trips are often programmed for small groups. Late cancellations can seriously impact our ability to accommodate others and recover costs.
- Refunds will be given for cancellations made up until 1 week prior to the trip leaving.
Trips are open on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. For more information, e-mail outdoor.pursuits@unco.edu. To sign-up, visit the Campus Recreation Gear Shop.
