UNC Outdoor Pursuits is hosting a guided tour of beautiful Moab, Utah.  Enjoy the scenery as you camp, hike and mountain bike on the Canyon Lands Sunrise.  After seeing breathtaking Moab, Outdoor Pursuits will travel to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon for camping, hiking and sightseeing.  Our friendly staff will provide a fun, safe and exciting trip for all abilities and experience levels.

Rock Climb Shelf Road Colorado Springs

From top ropes to sport climbing, Shelf Road Climbing offers short climbing routes for beginners and advanced climbing routs for experiences climbers. This is a great trip for anyone trying rock climbing for the first time at one of the most breath taking natural features in Colorado.

Coney Flatts Backpacking

Come join us for an overnight backpacking trip to Coney Flatts, named so for the 'coney' - or pika - that inhabit surrounding talus slopes.  By adventuring to this area, you will enjoy excellent hiking, undisturbed wildlife viewing and diverse terrain en route to a secluded alpine lake apart from the crowds.

Horseback Riding

Kayak the Lower Blue

Join Outdoor Pursuits as we travel to Lower Blue. Lower Blue is an intermediate run through a beautiful, semi-remote, wooded canyon. Most of the run is class III pool drops through small boulder gardens.  Beginners must first enroll in a kayak roll clinic, held in the Butler-Hancock pool.

White Water Rafting

Camping Dinosaur National Park

YellowStone National Park

Join Outdoor Pursuits as we visit America’s first National Park.  We will visit the most popular geyser in the world, Old Faithful and other geysers and hot springs.  We will look for wildlife in the valleys and also hike some of Yellowstone’s trails.  We will also visit the majestic mountains of Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. 

Camp and Hike

New to kayaking or looking to refine your skills?  Join Outdoor Pursuits and develop a variety of kayaking skills, including surfing, hopping, slalom, cartwheels and spins. Golden Play Park has about a dozen different whitewater features, making it great for all ability levels.  Beginners must first enroll in a kayak roll clinic, held in the Butler-Hancock pool.
