Summer:
- Reservation Only
The climbing wall is open for bouldering all hours that the Recreation Center is open.
Special Events: The Climbing Wall is available for rent for unique social events such as birthday celebrations, youth groups, workplace socials, residence hall and Greek community to name a few. All special events are by reservation only. Contact the Coordinator of Outdoor Pursuits at 970-351-2543 for information.
Equipment
The UNC Climbing Wall has gear available for checkout. These items include harnesses, carabiners, belay devices and shoes.
Our equipment inventory includes:
- Camp Topaz harnesses
- Black Diamond Sport Belay
- Black Diamond Vario chest harnesses
- Carabiners - screwgate and auto-locking
