Stress Less Week, November 30th-December 4th
Take advantage of the wide variety of events the campus recreation center will be hosting as part of "Stress Less Week" as you prepare for finals. All events are FREE!
Monday November 30th:
- Look for the FREE chair massage, spaced randomly around campus!
- Free Core Challenge Group Fitness Class 5:10pm
Tuesday December 1st:
- Movie in the Pool, 8:00-10:00pm
- Free Step Energy Group Fitness Class 7:00am
Wednesday December 2nd:
- Restorative Yoga and Breathing Techniques Workshop (all levels welcome), 7:00-8:30pm, Upper Group Fitness Room
- Free Kickboxing Group Fitness Class 6:00pm
Thursday December 3rd:
- Partner Massage Workshop (bring a friend, roommate, or significant other), 7:00-8:30pm, Lower Group Fitness Room
- Free BOSU Blast Group Fitness Class 4:00pm
Friday December 4th:
- Free Hard Core Group Fitness Class 3:00pm

All group fitness classes are free during finals week. Burn off some stress in one of our many classes. Check here for the modified schedule, which will be posted soon!
FREE WEEK: ALL Group Fitness Classes Free
January 11th-15th
All group fitness classes will be free the first week of the spring semester! Come check out one of the nearly 40 classes that are offered each week. Check out the schedule! If you love it, sign up for a FITpass! Fitpasses can be charged to student bills.
January 20th, 5:30-7:30pm
The UNC Campus Recreation Personal Trainers will be offering free modified fitness assessments in the lower group fitness room from 5:30-7:30pm. All tests are optional so you can pick and choose. Tests take about 15 minutes to complete.

February 1st Registration Deadline
The Biggest Improver is a 5-week program running from February 1st-March 5th to help participants reach overall fitness and wellness goals. Registration includes pre & post fitness & wellness testing, goal setting, CRC weight room orientation, and other special events. There will be prizes for 1st and 2nd place (Student Group & Faculty/Staff Group). All fitness levels are welcomed and encouraged!
February 1st, March 1st, April 5th, 5:30-7:30pm
UNC Campus Recreation Personal Trainers will be hosting a free body composition testing clinic the first monday of each month. Tests include 3 site skinfold, BIA, and hip and waist circumference measurements. Test take about 5 minutes to complete.
Strong Man and Woman Competition
April 22nd, 6:00pm
Come participate or cheer on your favorite competitor! This fun and challenging events will include root beer keg toss, tire flip, truck/car pull, farmers walk, and a head to head overhead press.
