Fitness Assessments











Fitness assessments are a great way to help you set goals and gauge your progress. Personal Training Services offers a body composition assessment and a full fitness assessment.  The results from fitness assessments enable you to identify strengths and weaknesses and set realistic and attainable goals.  The body composition assessment will analyze the body’s weight in terms of the absolute and relative amounts of lean body mass and fat mass.  The full fitness assessment tests all components of fitness; body composition, cardiorespriatory fitness, muscular strength & endurance, and flexibility.(not required for body comp test only)

To participate in any Personal Training Program plese fill out a Client Registration Packet


The customizable fitness assessment includes the following tests:               

  • Resting Measures: Heart Rate and Blood Pressure
  • Body Composition: Hip and Waist Circumference, BIA, and 3-site Skinfolds
  • Cardiorespiratory Fitness: Rockport Mile Walk, McArdle Step, or cardio test of your choice.
  • Muscular Endurance: Push-up and plank test
  • Muscular Strength: Estimated 1 Rep Max Test (Leg Press and Bench Press)
  • Muscular Balance/Postural Assessment/Flexibility: Functional Movement Screening

One on One Training


One-on-one training incorporates fitness assessments, goal setting, and health education into challenging workouts specially designed for each individual's specific needs and goals with a nationally certified Personal Trainer. The trainer will be there to instruct you on proper technique, exercise options, and at the same time motivate you to achieve your fitness goals.  Each training session is one hour long.

A fitness assessment is required with the initial purchase of sessions, follow-up assessments will be completed throughout training as determined by you and the Personal Trainer.  The first session will be dedicated to the fitness assessment and goal setting.
