UNC Cycling Club
Club Information:
Join the UNC Cycling Club! The club is comprised of full time students both male and female, Graduate and Undergrad. Mountain biking season starts the first weekend in September and road racing starts the first weekend in March.
Even if you have no experience racing, we provide a fun and helpful environment to start. Come to our first meeting and find out more, everyone welcomed.
The team competes as members of USA Cycling along with University of Colorado, Colorado State University, Colorado School of Mines, Mesa State College, Metro State College, and several other schools in Colorado and across the nation. In 2011-12 season the team traveled to Wyoming and various cities within Colorado. Overall, the team did amazingly throughout the season and represented UNC proudly.
The main highlight of the year for the team was to introduce new students to the sport. On the road, the team had one athlete with four tope ten finishes and finished 2nd in the division by one point behind first.
