Swim Boot Camp

Small group pool workout aimed at pushing you to the next level.

Dates:
Tue / Thur beginning March 20th and ending April 17th.
Time: 6:00 - 7:00pm
Cost: $55.00
Max Participants: 10

* Please note "Swim Boot Camp" are not swim lessons. You must be proficient in the water to enroll.*

Sprint Triathlon

Saturday, April 21st., 11:00am

Join Campus Recreation for our indoor Sprint Triathlon. Participants will utilize the Rec Center's pool, spinning bikes, and indoor track for this unique take on the popular event.

* 500 yard swim
* 10 mile bike
* 3 mile run


$5.00 pre-registration, or $10.00 day of the event.

Movie Nights

Join us for a relaxing evening and enjoy floating around the pool while watching a fun film. Snacks are provided.

Aquafit Classes

Whether you are in the need of some cross training or just want to do a fun pool workout, this non-weight bearing exercise program is designed to tone and shape muscles and increase cardio fitness. AquaFIT classes are FREE to all UNC students and Campus Rec Center Members.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course

Through videos, group discussion and hands-on practice, you will learn patron rescue and surveillance skills, as well as First Aid and CPR/AED. The course will focus on a variety of environments, including pools, waterfronts, waterparks and shallow water attractions. Please register in advance at the Campus Recreation Center front desk.

Class Dates: 3/31, 4/1, 4/14, 4/15 - 8:00am - 5:00pm (Note: Must attend all 4 dates to complete certification)
Cost: $200.00
