Modalities Offered

      • Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is a vigorous system of treatment designed to energize the body by stimulating circulation. Five basic strokes, all flowing toward the heart, are used to manipulate the soft tissues of the body. Therapists use a combination of kneading, rolling, vibrational, percussive, and tapping movements, with the application of oil or lotion, to reduce friction on the skin.

      • Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage uses several advanced techniques to affect the sub-layer of musculature and fascia. It helps with chronic muscular pain and injury rehabilitation and reduces inflammation-related pain. It is generally integrated with other massage techniques.

      • Hot Stone Therapy

Stones of all shapes and sizes and varying temperatures are used during hot stone massage therapy to elicit physical healing, mental relaxation, and a spiritual connection to Earth's energy. Stones are placed in varying positions on the body for energy balancing or may be used by the therapist for specific trigger-point work.

      • Neuromuscular Therapy

This comprehensive program of soft-tissue manipulation balances the body’s central nervous system with the musculoskeletal system. The goal is to help relieve pain and dysfunction by understanding and alleviating the underlying cause. Neuromuscular therapy is used to locate and release spasms and hypercontraction in the tissue, eliminate trigger points that cause referred pain, rebuild the strength of injured tissues, assist venous and lymphatic flow, and restore postural alignment, proper biomechanics, and flexibility to the tissues.

      • Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point myotherapy is a noninvasive therapeutic modality for the relief and control of myofascial pain and dysfunction. Treatment consists of trigger point compression, myomassage, passive stretching, and a regime of corrective exercises. Trigger point myotherapy relies heavily on client-therapist interaction, including verbal and nonverbal elements.

      • Prenatal/Pregnancy Therapy

Prenatal massage uses many methods of massage and somatic therapies which safely alleviate strain and discomfort prenatally, during labor, and postpartum. Prenatal therapy reduces pregnancy discomforts and enhances the physiological and emotional well-being of both mother and fetus.

      • Raindrop/Aromatherapy

Raindrop Therapy can be added to any massage and consists of directly applying essential oils to the spine. Raindrop and Aromatherapy can greatly improve whole body function and can assist in chronic pain relief, relaxation, and overall well-being. These remedies have, throughout history, been used to detoxify, revitalize, and oxygenate the body. These applications have also been used to cleanse, clear, and stimulate energy meridians and centers, such as chakras and other subtle energy fields surrounding our body.
