| Information: | The University of Northern Colorado School of Theatre and Dance presents Stephen Sondheim’s controversial musical, Assassins, running from October 29-31 and then from November 3-7 at 7:30 pm in the Norton Theatre, with a 2 pm matinee on November 8.
Assassins is a haunting, dazzling journey through the minds of the men and women who have attempted to assassinate American presidents, however successful they were. Set in a dark carnival atmosphere outside the boundaries of time, the show integrates these notorious figures to an eerily comedic result.
Guest director Brendan Fox provides a unique production, presenting the show in the intimate, 100-seat Norton Theatre. Surrounding all sides of the stage, theatergoers are immersed in the action and mystique of Fox’s exploration of the American dream and how far it can be stretched.
