Graduate Credit & Course Techniques

Two semester hours of graduate credit are an option for each week's class. Requirements for credit include tuition payment, attendance at all sessions, and the completion of a brief written paper. Grading is S/U. Certificates of attendance will be given to all participants and UNC transcripts mailed in September to those who elect to earn credit.
A variety of techniques are used to present symposia information:

lectures,
discussions,
audio-visual presentations,
question/answer sessions, and
wrap-ups.
You will be able to interact with experts and your peers in special education and related fields from throughout the country.

Registration Information
Each session has a minimum participant requirement; if we do not have enough participants for a session it may be cancelled. If you should have to cancel your registration, you will receive 50% refund of your deposit provided you notify the Center at least two weeks before your session is scheduled to begin. Failure to meet this two-week cancellation notification will result in forfeit of your entire deposit.
