Before you begin, you should print this tutorial. You must be logged into Blackboard and inside your class. 1. Click Communication (If your instructor has customized the course menu, there may be an Discussion link on the menu; if so, use this link.) |

2. The Discussion Board appears. 3. Click the discussion forum TITLE to open the discussion. |

4. Click the Discussion Thread Title to open the thread. |

5. Click a message in the thread detail to read it. 6. The selected (highlighted) message appears BELOW the message list.

7. Click "Reply" in the message to respond to a post. Key a new subject line, if desired. Key your message in the "Message" box. Click "Submit" to post your message. 8. Click "Modify" (if your instructor has enabled this option) to modify your own message. 9. Click "Remove" (if your instructor has enabled this option) to remove your own post. |

10. To REPLY, key a new subject line, if desired. Key the body of your message. 11. Click "Attach a file" to attach a document to your post. Browse for and locate the file on your computer and double click on it. Note that the selected file name appears in the "attachments" box. 12. Click "Submit" to post your reply. |
